Earby Masterplan

What is a Town Centre Masterplan?

On the Pendle Borough Council website, a Town Masterplan is described as ‘a vision for the town for the next 10 – 15 years. An Earby Masterplan will mean that the town will have a clear set of priorities, and it will be quicker and easier to access funding when it becomes available in the future.’

Yesterday the ‘Early thinking on Earby Masterplan July 2023’ pdf draft became available on the Pendle website: https://www.pendle.gov.uk/downloads/download/3203/colne_barnoldswick_and_earby_town_centre_masterplans images of the pdf are shown below.

A workshop to develop Earby’s Masterplan is being hosted tomorrow (14th July) at the Linden Road Centre, Earby, BB18 6XR between 10am and 12pm. This is advertised as having to book a place, so we are not sure if people are able to just turn up on the day, but considering the draft of the plan has only just been made public, it may be worth popping along to comment and have your views heard.

We will add any future information we receive relating to the Masterplan here, and on the Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/earby.info and would like to hear peoples thoughts on the plan so far, and impressions on tomorrows workshop.
