A local volunteer group set up to enhance the town of Earby, and bring the community together through the positive power of food; growing, foraging, cooking/baking and sharing it!

Five Years On…

And we still love planting and growing around Earby, and getting to know people of all ages in the community, either through gardening or dishing up food at Sow Grow Eat and other events. With the support from Co-op funding, The National Lottery Community Fund, Lancashire Environmental Fund and generous donations from the public and small local businesses, we can keep maintaining the areas already planted, and look towards the future, engaging  people with their community spaces, along with helping to support biodiversity and local wildlife.

We meet on Sundays (weather dependant), on the Green, Riley Street/Aspen Lane, from 10.30am. Everyone is welcome, but children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Dress for the weather and we’ll provide the gardening tools, refreshments and good company. Follow us on Facebook to keep up to date with gardening sessions, and Sow Grow Eat gatherings, along with seasonal events like Apple Day.
